"Position and Hold"

This call is for air traffic controllers to use in airports with a control tower. This is not to be used by pilots in non-towered airports. If you are not ready for takeoff, don't go on the runway. If you want to taxi on the runway, after a landing aircraft to expedite your takeoff, then the proper call is "Cessna 123 taxiing on runway 34 waiting for traffic to clear.
