Back to this months Examiners Tip!

When you clear the runway after landing, stop. "Do not call clear except if the weathers is IFR or the runway is with a crown, and the end is not visible." Do the after landing items by memory (flow pattern) then read the checklist. Never taxi and read the checklist.

In the PTS under "Unsatisfactory Performance" is a requirement to clear the area before and while performing maneuvers.  My tip is, there has never been a failure for doing to many clearing turns.
